I have sound from both headphones and speakers

I'm on my laptop listening to music, and i have my headphones plugged in and i can hear out of them. However, My laptop's speakers are playing the music as well. I've tried right clicking and disabling the speakers, ut hat disables my headphones too. Any advice would be helpful, thanks

IMO something is wrong in the hardware jack. Inserting the headphone jack cuts off the speakers (hardware wise), expands a contact or something similar, to the speakers.
