hi i have :

cpu:E8400 dual core 3 ghz
ram: ocz viper pc2-9200 2 gig 1150mhz 2.3v
video card: ati his hd 4870
motherboeard: p5q premium

i overcloked to 4 ghz with my bios :

cpu ratio: 9x
fsb frequency: 444
fsb nb: 400
dram: 1183mhz--3:4 fsb dram
cpu voltage:1.3V
cpu pll: 1.50V
fsb term:1.50V
dram:2.3V
NB:1.50V

cpu temp: 37 celsius and on crysis full direct x10 ultra quality 1920x1200 with no lag 56 celsius

ram temp: 32 celsius

but im not sure if it work properly im not sur its 100% stable because i got a bluscreen yesterday but i think its because of my memory stick

if you can check this settings for me and tell me if i am wrong with something, it will be nice

oo and i forget what is the best fsb/ram ratio 1:1 or 3:4 ??

when i put on auto(888 mhz) and reduce my ram volt to 1.9 i got 1:1

ty and plz answer me !

    ty

1:1 is ideal but not necessary.

Use Prime95 to test your machine
    http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103
  2. Use this to get proper temps
    http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
  3. oh tanks to you my friend, i will try this program to see if its stable

    thanks alot
  4. but it is better to be on 1183 mhz with 3:4

    or

    888mhz with 1:1 ??
  5. The 1:1 just makes the machine easier to OC... As long as its stable 1:1 or 3:4 is irrelevant.

If you are running stable... say 10+hours of Prime95 then try lowering your Voltage and run prime again... keep doing this until you get as low voltage as possible as this will lower your heat.
  6. no problem with heating for the moment but im not sure how to use this little software

i give him 30 meg of ram and i start it for 10 hour ?? my cpu temp goes too 61 celsius at 100%

soo it will keep my cpu at 100% for 10 hours ?

and it is more faster with 1183 mhz 3:4 ??

61 is pretty good for 100% load and 4GHZ, nice

soo it will keep my cpu at 100% for 10 hours ?
Prime will run untill you turn it off... the point of running it for a long time is to see if your stable
and it is more faster with 1183 mhz 3:4 ??
  8. i dont see a difference between 1183 mhz and 888 mhz what its suppost to do ?

This is a tough thing to answer...

you may get more running the ram over 800mhz however i have read articles saying that any extra MHZ above the FSB (400x2 in your case so 800) will be simply wasted as the memory is waiting on the FSB..

Is it faster @ 1183? To be perfectly frank… im not sure. Personally I would clock the ram down to 800 and make the timing tighter to CL4 is possible.

Someone else will have to answer your Memory MHZ question.
  10. oki ty if someone can come help me with this question plz come

and look at this and tell me what you think about that
  11. umm how can i show u a image ?
  12. create a free account here http://photobucket.com/
they will give you links to cut/paste here after you upload the image.
  13. my video card is gddr5 overcloked to 4.4ghz and 790mhz shader clock

hehe and look all my temp, i think its good
  14. lol what cooling do you have?

i have a Thermalright hr-03 after market cooler on mine and it idles in the low 40's.... lol

    anyway thats REALLY REALLY good
  15. i have http://pccyber.com/?v=product&i=CF-ZAL-CNPS9700+LED

and on my videocard i put it to manual and i set the fan speed to 100% with notepad

    this is my case http://pccyber.com/?v=product&i=CC-ANTEC-NINE+HUNDRED

i got 11 fans in my computer hehe
  16. this is all :

video cards: http://pccyber.com/?v=product&i=VC-HIS-HD4870 kick the ass of 9800 gx2 by 25% and only single core, overclocked to 4.4 ghz and 790mhz shader clock gddr5 512 mb

run crysis easy no lag in 1920x1200 directx10 24x antialiasing and 16x anisotropic and all settings to ultra high :P

that is all my computer :P hope you like it
  17. and this is my overcloking 24/7 stable :

    cpu ratio:9x

    fsb frequency: 444

    fsb nb :400

    dram:888mhz 1:1

    cpu voltage: 1.30v

    pll: 1.50v

    fsb termination:1.50v

    dram: 1.9v

    NB: 1.50v

    all others on <<auto>>

for a total of : 4 ghz lool
