Hi all. I am considering getting the e8400 wolfdale. My board is GA P35-DS3R rev 1.0. Any one got that cpu and the same board I have ? Just wondering if there are any issues I sould be aware of. I do know about the temp reporting errors already, this one doesn't bother me since it is a sensor issue and not a real temp issue.

And yes I do plan on oc'ing the e8400, 3.8 for sure, 4.0 maybe.

Thx !

the only difference between revision 1.0 and 2 is that 2 has more external usb's,,and you might ?? need a bios upgrade for that cpu.
I hope that you can find an 8400 they are scarce.hen's teeth???
i heard a rumor that the sensor problems might be due to improper seating of the cpu ???..
