Got barraged by malware last night. Tried to install a new antivirus program; computer BSODed during setup. Now whenever I start it up it gives me a "BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO" error (safe mode does this as well). Any way to fix this without reformatting?

If you have another HD, you can install windows on that drive. Then use this infected drive as a slave. You can then scan the drive with a virus scanner in safe mode. If you can't even boot to safe mode, it's probably corrupted your windows files or your master boot record. It's likely that you will have to format that drive.
