After talking with tech friends and posting on a few other forums I decided it was in my best interest to finally make an account here and get some final thoughts before I finalize purchasing the parts for my new computer. Basically I'm looking for a future-proof gaming machine that'll be upgradable for the next 3 years. Looking to eventually have it in SLI and 6-8gb ram, so keep that in mind when you see some of the parts (Like how I picked an SLI board but only 1 card.)

Main Questions:
1. Is the cooling system in the case I selected good for a first-timer with water cooling?
2. Could I reach 3.5Ghz on my processor with this set-up?
3. Should I wait for the 9800GX2? Is it still supposed to be released on Feb 14th?
4. Any suggestions/input would be very appriciated

Don't know if that psu can do tri SLI. If you're going to do tri, look at:

The GTS512 will last you a while until the next gen GPU is out. The build looks good for now. Except for the Thermaltake watercooling. They're not known for that. Get something else. My buddy uses the Freezone for his Q6600. Right now his idle is 17'c. No jokes. Load is 30'ish. I have the same but a refurb. Cools as well. For less than half the price of a new one. My idle is 19c & load is 36c tops. Coolit uses TEC which is better than just water.

There's a ton of peltier coolers on ebay:

Not that I suggest you do it yourself, but to give you an idea of what it is. Some diehards stick peltiers to their air coolers to reduce temps.

With a Freezone, you can pick out any mid to full tower with a 90-120mm exhaust fan mount you like.

I was planning on using the water system to cool my CPU, GPA, and Motherboard. From what I can see the Freezone's are for cpu only and most of coolit's items are equally specialized for a specific task. I also was hoping not to break the bank on cooling, though i have heard mixed reviews on it about the pump equiring the case to be on it's side. If there's maybe another cooling system for less than $300 that you could reccomend I'd be thankful, as I already know i'll need to spend a good $200 on top of the system for the correct water blocks I'll need.

Good watercooling kit:

H20-220-APEX-ULTRA+ (does everything from cpu to gpu to chipsets; just buy distilled water)

Bear in mind that pure watercooling can't beat TEC in terms of cooling. The peltiers are cold when you touch 'em. The unique thing about Coolit is that they use a thermal control module (circuit board) to control the coolant temp to avoid condensation. If you run a pure watercooling system, you might experience condensation which can harm the components.

BTW, Coolit sells used Freezones with 1 year warranty for $150 US. After shipping, it's still less than the $400 price tag of a new one. Click Buy > Buy direct. Mine is a refurb.
