Shop at ncix.com. They're the same co. Also, directcanada.com. All 3 are the same. Look at their addresses. Just price match directcanada at check-out for lower prices. The process is instant if the items are in stock.

ncix weekly sale is on tonight. Shop at that time. Should have deals. Look for HD3850.

Actually, that $616 Canadian is about $615 U.S., and most of those parts are only a few bucks more than in the U.S. anyway.

For your build, I wouldn't spend over $100 for a case when your budget is $600. The Antec 900 is a good case and all but you can find much cheaper ones that still give you good airflow. Here's some parts to consider...

CASE: CoolerMaster Centurion 5 - Much cheaper than the 900 but it still gives great airflow since it has a perforated front panel and comes with 2 fans...course you can add more if you want.

CPU: The E2180 or E2160 are good choices since you want to OC. Most people will probably say the E2160 is better though, since it should be easier to reach higher speeds with that one over the 2180, plus it's cheaper.

MoBo: The DS3L is also good, and most people are pairing up the E2160 with this MoBo and getting good OC results, so you were spot on with your CPU/MoBo choices.

RAM: OCZ, from what I've experienced and heard from others, can be hit or miss. Normally not bad but you might be better off with a cheap set from A-Data, Kingston, or best yet, Crucial. It might be a little more money, but the Crucial RAM is really good.

Video Card: The best sub-$200 card right now is the ATI 3850. I have one and it's awesome, especially considering the price.

HDD: I love Seagate hard drives so I think you picked a good one, but I noticed the one you listed is IDE ATA100. You should really get a SATA HDD, and it shouldn't even be a question anymore, especially considering that most MoBo's only have 1 IDE port now-a-days, which is more likely to be used for your optical drive.

Optical: You didn't list one so I'm not sure if you just forgot about it or are using one you already have, but just in case, here's one that is also a SATA drive which is nice for the increased transfer speeds over IDE.

PSU: On the cheap, an Antec Earthwatts or a Corsair PSU are good choices. The PSU you listed is OCZ, and again, from my perspective, OCZ can be hit or miss. The Corsair 550W or the Antec Earthwatts 500W should be enough juice and they are both great PSU's and fairly cheap. But again, maybe someone else can suggest a PSU for OC'ing.

Total for the above would be about $670. I know that's a little over what you said was your budget, but if you can squeeze a little more out of your budget, it should be a good system. Maybe others can suggest alternatives for less money, but hopefully this helps.

Get the "Retail" version of the optical drive in order to get software with it. This will include the decoder you'll need to watch movies on it.
