:pfff: Hello,

Yesterday i got all of my parts, but i have a problem. My motherboard (Asus P5k-E) has only 1 IDE plug. I have one (40gb Hard Drive) and one (Dvd Burner). I want to install windows xp on the harddrive but i dont know how i need to set jumpers on the harddrive and dvd rom so it will boot from the cd.

Sorry for my english, but i am from Poland

You have to go into the BIOS and set the DVD as the boot drive. However, just do this following step: When your mobo posts, hit F8. On every Asus mobo I've owned, F8 pulls up the boot menu. From there, you can select to boot from the DVD drive. Far as the jumpers go, set the hard drive as master and the DVD as slave.
