I just built my new system and originally couldnt get vista 64 to run with 4gigs of ram. I then downloaded the Kb patch and it has worked great for a week. Well Cysis locked up and I'm getting the same blue screen that I had before I downloaded the patch. Does anyone have any advise how to fix this problem?

The patch may not have been your problem to begin with? Or maybe you have other problems.

1. Has the system been proven stable with 2 gigs RAM?

2. Is your RAM voltage set to mfg spec? Probably 2.1.

3. Try relaxing memory timings - if at 4,4,4,12 go to 5,5,5,15.

4. If none of that helps run memtest86 on your RAM.

Sure your temps are ok? Is system overclocked?

First,
Disable SLI, so we make sure that is not causing the bad stuff.

I had issues with the ram voltages being too low, corrected using orthos for stability checks, and secondly, my SATA cables proved subpar, as all my disrupts went away after buying 2 locking sata cables to replace the ones that shipped with my 680i.

And those quads do run hot, is the case well ventilated or fan populated?

LoL that Quads dont run hot at stock speed

on the other hand the nvidia cards are probably making alot of heat.
