I think it's a solid build few more items:

If you plan to OC or even not this is a great heatsink:
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler

Optical Drive:
Samsung SH-S203B SATA
(Get the "Retail" version of the optical drive in order to get software with it. This will include the decoder you'll need to watch movies on it.)

Better Hard Drive:
Seagate Barracuda ES.2 ST3250310NS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

I heard good things & bad things on Patriot memory maybe consider these:
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK

Also that is an extremely good build and for just a few dollars more (well more like $75) you can get a better gpu faster & cooler:
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB

Decent. If you get a good cpu cooler, you can hit 4ghz with that cpu.

and ill be doing a 3.6ghz overclock on the cpu to get 400mhz fsb

I'm at 3.6ghz on stock volts. Idle 20'c & load 36'c. Cooler is:

It's a TEC which cools better than any pure watercooling. Mine is a refurb for $150 US from coolit.

You can o/c the e8400 with the stock cooler to 3.6ghz. No, you don't have to o/c cuz 3ghz is plenty for everything. Remember it's 6mb cache vs. 2-4mb cache in 65nm dual cores.
