overclocking celeron conroe-l

can someone help me please overclocking my pc... i'm just a newbie on this thing, i also got a problem with my temps at stock cooler of celeron 430, cpuid hwmonitor says that "cputin = 14 c & core#0 = 50.. what is the real temp of my core...? i built a value pc to try some overclocking.. i already tried but i can only hit 2.0 ghz and system hungs as i go higher...

msi 945gcdm7 - l
1gb kingston pc5300
160 gb seagate hdd sata
