Windows xp don't boot

Hello,
I operate my pc its start showing sing of windows XP for a few minutes.Then the sceen become black with the mouse curson it apears a mesegga which I can read is "a write operation attemted....and the sceen becomes black again but the pc works without coming to the main menu of the windows.
