mixing ddr2 533 and ddr2 667 possible or not?

i have a p4m800pro m2 mobo and a ddr2 533 512 ram. can i add a ddr2 667 1gig + my old ddr2 533 512 to my computer? can this cause problem to my computer pls help many thank

that motherboard looks like it only supports DDR2 533, however, if you have both installed at once the 667 stuff will down clock to 533 to match the other.

in short, you shouldnt have a problem but the 667 will run at 533

it could cause a problem, but more than likely it will be fine

Should be fine you wont have dual channel support if your MB supports it, takes matching sizes. In your case you don't have that now so you wont lose a thing.
