I came across an electronics waterproofing coating and thought that it would solve some of the condensation issues with using phase change and/or N2O.

I was just wondering if any of the overclocking experts here have tried this product.

If this works you could just throw your whole rig into a freezer or a liquid N2O vacume insulated enclosure. It might make superconducting home PCs a common place item.

So my question is ....has anyone tried this?

It is probably a Silicone based product.

It would work on any exposed surfaces, but would probably not work well if you threw it into a freezer....because all the componets would have micro pockets of air somewhere, and would most likely fry when condensation occurs. Now it would be great for coating for the processor and maybe GPU for Liquid N2.

does that mean you welcome people to PM you?LOL

back to topic, it didnt tell you how might the coating work under extreme heat or sub zero temperature.
