More Information

A small form-factor barebones computer that I am looking at from MSI for some reason only offers PCI expansion capabilities (not PCI-E). I need to install a video card to meet the system requirements for a piece of software that I use. Basic requirements for the card are 128 MB of RAM and capability of running DirectX 9.

The software manufacturer has seen success with the ATI Radeon 9200 or 9550 and the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS.

I really like this barebones PC. I have used previous models from MSI with great success, and they need replacing. So, my questions are the following:

1. Is this a huge deal for my video card needs or should I really try to find a computer with PCI-E or AGP?
2. Any recommendations for a PCI video card that meets my requirements? I found this one: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applica [...] CatId=1603

Many thanks,
Eric

That's probably the best card for you, it's loads better than the one you found.
