Applying Thermal Paste

Ok i just got my ZEROtherm Zen FZ1205, and i need to put it on to my system. I have artic silver 5 and i need to know how to properly apply it. I was going to use the grain rice and spread it with a sandwhich bag. Is there a better method for a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400.
