Hi gurus,

I'm planning a computer for a friend with a limited budget. Thinking of Athlon X2 5600+. I have two models with the same price tag, models being:

ADA5600DOBOX
ADA5600CZBOX

Any idea of the difference? AMD's own pages did not find anything with DOBOX model...

Thanks in advance!

The model numbers can be broken down according to this chart here: http://products.amd.com/en-us/images/chart_r2.gif

"DOBOX" - D = socket 939, O = 1.25V core voltage
"CZBOX" - C = socket 940, Z = not on the chart

Several retail sites have them both listed as socket AM2 parts though. I'm going to second Jackalope on this one and say the "CZBOX" is probably a misprint. Just make sure they are both quoted as having the same socket type and you could buy either one. If you get one with the wrong socket type, return it.
