Audio drivers-asus x51r

Hello,
my asus x51r hasn't audio when after install xp,but when start I could hear start sound.....?

double click the speaker icon in the lower right hand of the screen, do you see the audio software window?
Check all the settings and volume controls. make sure the audio mute is off.

OR delete and re-install the asus audio drivers.

However, there have been massive reports with problems in audio on asus boards, and the board may be defective.

Hello! I have the same problem. But mine says "No Audio Device" even though I tried to install it and re-install it... I recently bought the PC, from my workplace, it's second hand, but it was checked/certified, it should work fine...
