Hi

After doing some research i have chosen this config:

• ANTEC SONATA 3 (with Antec Earthwatts 500W power supply included)
• ARCTIC COOLING FAN 120mm (to apply in the front case)
• WESTERN DIGITAL SE16 250GB 7200 RPM S-ATA2 16MB
• ASUS P5K PRO
• Intel E8400
• GSKILL PC6400 HK DUAL CHANNEL 2GB DDR2
• CLUB 3D RADEON HD3870 512MB DDR4 (PCI-E)

What do you people think about it? Its for games, some Photo editing (PhotoshopCS3), and some possible AutoCad Works (not many i think)

Thank you

I think it looks great except for an Optical Drive:
Samsung SH-S203B SATA

(Get the "Retail" version of the optical drive in order to get software with it. This will include the decoder you'll need to watch movies on it.)

Also if you plan to use Vista you may bumb the RAM up to 4gb.

Thank you. I already have an optical drive :) Well right now im using Windows Xp. Im planing using Vista, do you really think i need the extra 2gb of memory? I dont plan using the 64bits, i have heard some imcompatibility problems, besides in the 32bits version the 4gb of memory wont be all recognized am i right?

Hi,

Thank you everybody. So lets say:

• ANTEC SONATA 3 (with Antec Earthwatts 500W power supply included)
• ARCTIC COOLING FAN 120mm (to apply in the front case)
• WESTERN DIGITAL SE16 250GB 7200 RPM S-ATA2 16MB
• ASUS P5K PRO
• Intel E8400
• GSKILL PC6400 PK DUAL CHANNEL 4GB DDR2 (Changed)
• CLUB 3D RADEON HD3870 512MB DDR4 (PCI-E)

Anything more you think would be nice to change? The Antec Earthwatts 500W would be enough right? I dont intend to overclock, or use SLI/Crossfire. By the way im using a Nokia 447Za Monitor (a marvelous classic!) with resolution 1024x768 for the most of the time, but i might use also 1280x1024 resolution, the CLUB 3D RADEON HD3870 512MB DDR4 (PCI-E) should be enough to play good games right?

Thank you in advance
