Do any of you fellow laptop users use your PROSET wireless, or do you disable it and use Windows' built-in WiFi manager instead? I may be missing something here, but according to the product info page, all this utility's capabilities can be done by Windows as well. Does the PROSet utility have an advantage that isn't immediately obvious?

It depends which version of Windows you are using -- and how helpful the makers utilities are. The penalty is that they eat up memory, so if you want to optimise, use Windows only.

Personally I prefer to use manufacturer's utilities because I find older Windows setup at best ambiguous (some pre-SP2 installations just don't work) and the newer ones don't offer the same amount of info as the makers'.
