After some research this is what ive come up with

Cpu - q6600 [ thought about the e8400 ]
Gpu - Evga 8800 gtx
Psu - Corsair 620 hx
Mobo - Asus maximus formula
Ram - 2x CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400PRO
Hd - Raptor 150 gb
Case - Antec 900 or a full size case?

All of this comes to $1,568.94 on new egg

If u would change anything let me know? im not final on all of this. This is going to be a gaming pc [crysis, counterstrike, etc]. Ive been curious about liquid cooling and was wondering if it was worth the money? Or if your better off going with a aftermarket heatsink and fan?

For gaming I would go e8400 with a decent cooler and overclock it to 4.0ghz.

The 8800gtx is soon to be obsolete (feb 21 it's replacement is out, I think)

The Asus Maximus is overpriced. A $90 p35 will treat you just as well.

The Raptor is also overpriced compared to the new 32mb cached 500gb Sata drives.

The Antec 900 is a great case when it's on sale for $80'ish.

The Corsair 620w is overkill for an e8400/single vid card system, the 520w is plenty.

I have to agree with that.
If you REALLY can’t wait another week then buy a 8800GT OC, you won’t see much difference between the two.

** Spending that much on a GTX now is insane as next week it will likely drop in price and/or not be the best any more. I would be furious if I spent $450+ on the GTX when there is something better out there.

Abit IP 35 Pro
8800 GT 512 or wait a couple weeks
WD5000AAKS HD
Q6600 GO
(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
PCP&C Silencer 610 or your Corsair 620 HX
CPU Cooler
Vista 64 Bit Ultimate
