i plug my headphone's into my computer but the sound still only come out of he laptop....

i plug my headphone's into my computer but the sound still only come out of he laptop....

Whether the sound comes thru the headphones or speakers is controlled by the headphone jack being plugged in and disabling a contact to the speakers.
You may have a faulty hardware connection.
