I know there are many places online where it has been discussed already, but I am hoping someone can give me a simple answer that actually works. (Well if it' ridiculously complicated but still works I'll be just as happy.)

Back in January I built myself a great state of the art system and decided to try vista 64. Knowing others had had many problems with it I was ready to do some work to get it going. What I didn't expect was that four months later i would have my wonderful new system sitting collecting dust because it just can't function through my wireless network. After two cards that my system simply wouldn't recognize I got: "EDIMAX EW-7128G IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Wireless Card" from newegg. Unbelievably the system picked it up right away, and my connection was absolutely great(the my old xp system right next to it was only about 2/3 as good.) So I open up Firefox, Google takes a little longer than normal to pop up, I think nothing of it. As soon as i try and visit pretty much any website besides Google or Gmail(gmail does go incredibly sow, but makes it.) it times out. I also tried IE and got the same results, only even worse. I put I-Tunes, Lord of the Rings Online and BitTorrent on the system Via jump drive, and none of these can make a good connection. I know the Wireless network is strong(I have great speed with my old comp. that is right next to my new one, and my xbox that is about 3 times further away.) When i look at my connection through the Railink utility it shows great signal strength and quality.

Can anyone show me how to finally enjoy my new machine? I feel as though I've looked so hard and tried so many things i'm about to just give up, and buy a stand alone wireless hub to connect to, but i'm hoping i can get it to work the way it should.
