I need suggestions for a cheap case and psu combo. Id like to spend under 50.00 shipped if possible. this will be for a build for my mom who will just use the comp for internet and word primarily. probably going to build a dual core 2.xghz with 1-2 gigs of ram for her. nothing will be overclocked so thats not an issue.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know what your looking to spend but you may buy a already built one for cheap. Do a search (google) for barebone computers.

For an Internet pc, the case is ok. Just make sure there's an exhaust fan in the back.

Anything would do just as long it has fans at the back. /\ just as akhilles said.

That depends if he doesn't have the parts for a complete system already, if he already does then I wouldn't go for it. If not then yeah perhaps getting an already built system is better.
