ANY WAY OF REALLY FINDING A GENERIC USB WEB CAM DRIVER FOR A UNKOWN WEB CAM , WITH OUT GOING THROUGH THE BULL *** OF DRIVER DETECTIVE, DRIVER WHIZ, DRIVER CHECKER, AND ALL THAT OTHER POP UP JUNK I DO NOT WISH TO REGISTER FOR THESE THINGS.

HELP ANY ONE THANK YOU !

It's a needle in the haystack, but the haystack isn't really all that big.

Look for an FCC ID number sticker (small chance of that), or
try popping the cover off the thing and look for the interface chip inside with a decent magnifying glass. Maybe there's a number on it.

Also, I have a few of those silly things and some say no driver needed, or, they actually do need a driver. Doesn't matter, Windows says it's working properly but only a few applications can access the lousy things. Maybe you have an application that can capture video?... or... Windows device manager says it has a problem (needs driver).

Last option... Google "web cam" and look at retail outlets to see if you can spot it. This will let you know what it is which is a giant help.

You're not in a good position to make it work, but these are things to try.. luck does happen... sometimes.
