Cant reinstall vista it reboots to a user password un known

I'm trying to restore my computer back to factory image and f8 repair mode brings up other user screen and cant figure out how to get pasted this any user name or password i try doesn't work plus when it boots this screen it comes up different size and clarity some one help me please

F8 repair is not a factory restore.

Look in the manual for your computer on how to do the restore to factory, or see what it states on boot-up. Should say "hit blah key to restore".
