looks expensive for a 2160-based system... i'm sure you can swap in an E8400 for that price...

otherise, it looks good

would really like to get a e8400-but the prices i can find it at are too much for me

i kind of figured that the 2160 would be the bad part of this build..

i would rather get teh 45nm -- will this boards bios handle that??

also, will probably run win xp sp2 on this

You better get a DVI to HDMI cable to use a TV. You might have trouble even then. Some TVs are picky about there HDMI source. You might need a graohic card that can produce Video and sound through DVI to HDMI. Hooking up TVs can be done but it is trickier then using a monitor. If you use VGA you wont get full 1080p resolution.

eventually when i get tv, i will round sound out through reciever seperately. yes have dvi to hdmi. gotta love monoprice.

im not too worrried about lcd compatibility issues now, wont be getting the tv for a long time. im more concerned about the actual rig, how are all those components for running to a 19"lcd viewsonic v924?
