pcie overclocking

I am currently using a 8800gtx my pcie clock is set at 100 mhz in bios.Now whats the highest i can set the pcie clock in my bios so i can get better performance with my 8800 gtx card.Please all suggestion will help.

It won't significantly affect performance. Higher pcie can cause more problems than it's worth. Keep it locked at 100mhz.

Don't bother with it. Leave it at 100mhz.

also, raising the pci-e clock can in some cases result in random corruption of hdd's, resulting in non-booting os...

you would be better off overclocking the card rather than the bus. pci-express is not exactly designed to be overclocked, while the card can be.
