which mobo to buy

In the process of my first new build, I have a E8400 cpu and can't make my mind up on either a MSI P7N SLI Platinum 750i or the Asus P5N-D SLI 750i, the system will be used for gaming and internet surfing thanks

I'd get the Asus, just because I don't like MSI that much... but thats just me

ASUS, top quality parts. Never had ASUS or Gigabyte boards die on me yet.

ASUS's quality has apparenty degraded over the years from the big overclocker's surge, but I think I'd still go ASUS between those two.

Of those two, I'd choose Asus. A coworker of mine who had/has a computer business says that in his experience, MSI makes crap.

I am still trusting ASUS but I like Gigabytes as well which I would have never considered a few years back.
