Abit AV8 mobo with an athlon 64 3000+ and 1 gig ram. I found http://www.newegg.com/product/prod [...] 6820211066 which I might get.
But I really need a new CPU, Im a gamer and so far no real issues some of the time. I dont the cash to change over to PCIe or SATA drives.

There is a computer show tomorrow and Sunday locally here, and could use some info fast.

get a used computer on ebay and sell yours

if work a McDonald's 1 day a month for year you save enough
first you said you no problems and upgrading is going to little - my opinion is save the $36 an by some nvidia stock if it goes from 18 back to 40 you have almost $100! its a joke and its not stock advice

$6x8hours=48 x12 = $600

sell old for $100
buy new for $700

get the pcie and sata
