What do you folks think? Any suggestions? None of these components are set in stone yet.

CPU: Intel E8400

Cpu Cooler: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L

Case: COOLER MASTER Centurion 5

GPU: EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB

PSU: FSP Group FX600-GLN V2.2/EPS12V 600W Power Supply

RAM: G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

HDD: Western Digital Caviar RE WD1600YS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Optical Drive: SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner

Comes to ~$900 after rebates, shipping, wires, and thermal goo.

I would like to keep the build under $1000 because I am buying a pricey monitor. I plan to do a mild overclocking.

I agree with getting the 8800gt that Slicessoul suggested.
But, you can also try getting the 8800gts(g92) - $260 after rebate.

Opt to get Crucial ballistic ram. It's way better then g.skill and worth the wait for the rebate.

Get the Corsair 520w (modular is king)

Wow... I usually like to stick with FSP Group (Rock solid, never had one die one me). But you really can't beat the price on that 550W Corsair.

Also, thanks for the GPU suggestion.

Anything else guys?

Get a Retail rather than OEM version of the optical drive, in order to get all the software you'll need to use it. This includes the decoder, without which you can't watch movies on it.
