I am having a problem with my new Edifier speakers. It's a 5.1 speakers but i can't hear sounds from the surround speakers. when i try the speaker test in audio configuration of realtek and the volume are all set to HIGH, i press the surround speaker i can hear a low sound from the subwoofer. My board is an old MSI neofsr v2.0 with onboard Realtek Alc655 ac 97.
According to the manual and in the MSI websites it support 5.1 speakers.
It was properly setup, my configuration was like this rear speakerout/front speakerout/ center speakerout. All connectors are connected properly. My OS is windows xp.
What do you think the solution for this? Do you think i need a new soundcard?
