I have a solarism 17inch(LM1711S)lcd thats max resolution is 1280 x 1024 and when in digital mode(dvi-d), display properties settings will only let me set my resolution to 1024 x 768 and lower.In analog mode(vga) this problem does not exist.I'm running win 98se,pny gf3 ti 500,amd athlon t-bird @1.4 gigs.Help!!!

a) Are u sure the monitor can support that in digital mode, I saw a monitor before that was wierd like that
b)Although this would be really messed up, u sure ur vid card can do that in dvi mode?

The graphics card is a pny gforce 3 ti 500.The installation guide says it supports 1280 x 1024 in digital flat panel mode.The monitor manual also states the max resolution for dvi mode to be 1280 x 1024.
