More Information

I just recently brought a DFI Infinity P965-S,

, to life via flashing the BIOS from a floppy (courtesy of DFI's website). So the board is fine, ready to load the OS, etc. I had to flash because whenever I would go to hit delete to enter setup, the screen would go black and stay that way. I've heard that it is NOT uncommon to have to flash a new board.

Twist:
However, I'm building this computer for a friend's dad's personal business computer (i.e. it's uber important that it's solid), and I'm wondering how reliable DFI is on the whole.

If DFI simply isn't the best brand to go with, then I'm open to suggestions provided that:

LGA 775
FSB: 800 MHz
DDR2 800 Memory Standard
Supports Intel's Matrix RAID (5)
At least 4 SATA connectors
6 channel audio
At least 1 PCIx16 slot

To summarize.
1) What do you think of DFI?
2) Can I/Should I trust them?
3) While the LanParty series may be good, do you have any knowledge regarding their Infinity series?
4) Is the initial problem I had, in actuality, uncommon and a sign that other problems await me down the road?

Thank you all who take the time to respond!
