CPU E6600 Intel core2 Duo 2.4GHz ( 2 cores @ 2.4GHz = 4.8 GHz
Motherboard ASUS P5B deluxe – wireless
RAM 2GB – 2x1GB MUSHKIN PC2-EM6400 5-5-5-12
VGA NEW Xpert Vision GeForce 8400GS 256MB PCIexpress Graphics Card
PSU NEW PSU Trust 570W Pro

OS Windows XP Pro inc. service pack 2
cpu cooler freezre 7 pro

i have overclcoked my processor by increasing the fsb from 266 to 300 to give me 2.7ghz i am looking to go up to 3ghz max, however i am little bit causious as i have not overclcocked before.

so can i reach 3ghz by just changing the fsb or do i need to change other settings
is it ok just changing the fsb with a speed of 2.7ghz

thanks to all replies in advance

on the worker thread 2 i got a fatal error : Rounding was 0.5 expected less than 0.4

can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong

You will have to lower the overclock or increase Vcore.
Keep your memory initially at 1:1, so you can reach the maximum overclock on the CPU without overclocking the memory.
