4-pin fan replacement for xigmatek s1283

tgh says xigs fan is loud.
the scythes seem nice, but are only 3 pins.
that means no speed detection ?
im looking for a quiet replacement fan with 4 pins.

or, you can get an external fan control. about $6 for a nice, quality, die-cast metal one with 5+ speed settings that mounts in a pci hole.

I had a xigs, it cooled very well, but it was the loudest CPU cooler I have owned.

I can't hear mine. My graphics card's fan is louder than my s128.

I put a Scythe Slipstream 1200rpm on my 1283, connected to a Sunbeam fan controller and at the highest setting I can't hear the fan so I'm happy with this setup.
