I have recently got some good advise from this forun, I am trying to play my games and I am getting ALOT of lag spikes, I bought a cheap router. If I bought a switch would it improve my gaming to remove the spikes, because of an earlier issue I have cloned my devices MAC addresses, can this be affecting it?

your router has a built in switch, so i doubt you would see any difference at all
