Keep in mind I live in Greece and we often have ~40C temperatures or higher during the summer. I wouldn't want to overclock it during the winter and take it back down during the summer, and the heatsink isn't the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 which is usually used for 3.6ghz Q6600 on Air. This one has lower results.

But thanks for the replies.

4ghz is probably the limit for q6600 with air cooling and vcore limitations. My 1.3125 g0 q6600 run at 4ghz with 1.65 vcore and 66-69C max load. 69C is far too close to the 71C thermal threshold, and 1.65 vcore is above Intel's official recommended 1.5v or below for q6600. Any lower voltage and it fails prime95 after only an hour.

Most people just downclock it to 3.6ghz for less heat and vcore lower than 1.5v.
