Somewhat newby here. Please forgive and dumb questions I may pose.

I hoked up my new tv a few days ago and saw such an awesome
picture, when I was watching HD material. Digital channels, >100,
looked good. The analog channels, < 98, had a ghosting image
sometimes and other times had fuzzy images. It seemed like the
picture was 100000% clearer on my old 36" JVC tube when it comes to
analog channels.

I am using a HDMI to DVI cable to hook up the two units. My DVD is
hooked up with Component cables and Optical cable and looks and sounds
incredible.

I am using COMCAST and I have a tech coming out monday morning to look
at the situation. Maybe I need to run new lines from the pole into
the house.

I understand there is a conversion rate since my STB is dual DVR. Why
wasnt it as bad with the old set?? Is it cause the new set is HD??.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hopefully its something simple and I wont have to wait until Jan of
2007 to get a good picture.
