Hey all, I am kind of a newbie on overclocking, I have a few questions though. I am using nTune and Ntune monitor to overclock. I have 680I SLi MOBO, and Q6600 at stock right now. 2gig corsair ram 800 Whenever I adjust the FSB even just a little above stock 2.4 My cpu core, fsb and memory all go red in the monitor, (meaning unstable or component failure.) I have tried overclocking the same way in the bios, adjusting just a little and then load up windows and see that its in the red again... HELP? thanks
Josh

Its not a good idea to overclock within windows, an even worse idea using nTune. While there are utilities than OC within windows just fine, I would not advise trusting anything nTune tells you, infact just dont use it at all.

I wouldnt ignore it lol...but at the same time I wouldnt trust it, if that makes any sence. Read some of the overclocking guides up here since you are new to it, and like I said before please avoid using nTune to be on the "safe" side.
