[XFX] 680i LT SLI Penryn Ready?

Just a quick question for those who know:

The 680i LT SLI board from XFX says it's Core 2 Extreme (Dual & Quad Ready).

Can 45nm be used in these boards? Thank you!

No, you need the 700s for that. By "Core 2 Extreme," they meant the old 65nm quad.
  2. As an owner of an eVGA 680i board, I was really curious about this also. From what I have read on the forums on the eVGA site, the dual core Penryns will work, but the quad core Yorkfields will not.
