I have recently bought a 3500 I wish to use as a bridge for 3300. I am rather new to this process and as such I had looked online in order to figure out what to do. While following the direction in order to set the router thats being set for a bridge, I had made its IP address different using .2 and then finally .50. I had gone on to change the gateway to the correct address of the router I am attempting to connect to with the bridge, setting the IP for the Gateway and DNS

Each time I had done this, my 'bridge' has come out calling an ISP error and forcing the Ip address to 10.0.0.1 (or something along those lines). I had double checked to make sure no devices on the wireless internet I was using didn't have the port in use.

Could anyone help directing me in how to connect a netgear router in bridge mode to another or at least point me in what could be causing the IP address for the bridge to reset?
