The main reason why Dual outperforms Quad right now is generally the Duals will have a higher clock speed which current games can use. However, once games start getting released that are programmed better for multicore cpu;s even the higher clock on the duals wont help them anymore.

So are there alot of games now that take advantage of the quad? Are those types of games the wave of the future? Lets say 2 years from now will all the games be multicore? Thanks for your reply.
