Hi, today I boought the lg gh22ns30, connected it and everything seemed fine, detected in bios,windows,...but it won't read anything. I have the abit ip35-e mobo and theres just one sata hdd connected, tried with different ports,new chipset drivers but nothing helped

It sounds like either a bad disc or drive.

Try different discs in the drive....and try the same discs in another drive. That will give you your answer.

thx for the reply, I tried different types of discs, I'm just to be sure it's a bad drive before the replacement

Yes, it showed up bu it's ok now, I replaced it, can't believe their selling defect hardware. Thx for the replies
