Hi, I'm trying to put my 1st ever PC together. I've gotten as far as the BIOS, but it's not detecting my 2nd HD, it only sees one.

GA-P35-DS3L
E8400
HD1 250GB 7,200RPM (sees this one fine)
HD2 150GB 10,000RPM (doesn't see this one)
CD/DVD combo (also sees this)

Any ideas?

Have you installed an OS yet on the first HD? Get your system up and running fully with one hard drive and once you are going, install and format the hard drive within Windows (i'm guessing your using windows). It should then appear in Windows explorer.

Is there any sign of life when you start up the PC. Does the hard drive start spinning or making a noise?

The raptor is a noisy bastard, so you should be able to hear it if it's working.

Also, did you plug in both the Molex and the Sata power connectors to the Raptor? If so, that's a big NAY NAY! You may have killed it that way. If not, I'm thinking the install / format within windows should work.
