I built a new computer this weekend. I put it together, it booted fine. Did the whole partition set up, installed windows etc etc. Everything worked flawlessly until I tried to connect to the internet. I'm getting a "Limited or no Connectivity" warning and I can't connect. I used my old computer to download the most current drivers off the Nvidia site and that didn't work. I reformatted and installed only the most current drivers. I did an Ipconfig release renew. I'm set to obtain an IP and DNS automatically but I don't have an IP. Instead of the 1 Local Area Connection I have on my old computer this computer has 3. (2 ethernet jacks) 2 say local area connection 1 and 2, with the second one not being connected, the one connected says "limited to no connectivity. The third one says 1394 and is a 400mb per second connection compared to a 100mb like the other 2.
If i unplug the new computer and use the same ethernet cable on my old computer, internet works fine so it has to be something I'm missing on the new computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
