hi everyone,

i'm not sure if this is the right forum, it's the "father" of both the cooler and motherboard ones so i think it can somewhat fits....

does anyone know if the popular Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro phisically fits on the P5K/EPU motherboard?

i'm concerned about the "noticeable" height of the NorthBridge passive cooler, which is very, very close to the CPU socket....

thank you
:)

probably, but while (as i understand) your mobo has a (very clever, btw ;) ) nb heatpipe design, it seems more spacious than mine. the /epu layout is different from the p5k original, has an el-cheapo heatsink very close to the socket:

with a weird "wave-like" shaped top.

in other words, even the intel stock cooler almost touches the nb heatsink, as in this photo:

it is VERY tightly close there.
