What is a safe overclock speed for Q9550 (on Asus Rampage Formula)

3.8 would be safest and still good. get a true 120 and u could most likeley egt to 4ghtz but 3.8 is safe and runable all the time

Well as long as it is stable (8hrs+ of Prime95 or Orthos) and your temps aren't too high than any speed is safe. Just remember different CPUs will reach different speeds at different voltages.
