plz help me in overclocking my asus m2a-vm motherboard with amd athlon 64 x2 4800+
can some one tell me how much vcore voltage i can increase without burning anything? default is 1.375v.
is increasing vcore voltage affects northbridge & south bridge??? :)

Processor : AMD 64 X2 4800+ Brisbane @ 3.125 Ghz (250*12.5) 1.41V
Motherboard : ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe
Memory : DDR2 800Mhz = 2 X 1Gb Transcend @780 Mhz
Graphics : XFX GeForce 8800GS 384MB @ 725/950/1700
Sound : Soundblaster Audigy 5.1

the voltage that you can reach is limited mainly by the temperature of the core
What kind of cooler to do you have?
If its water cooled, than you can hit 1.5v and beyond.
With air cooling its usually best to stay @ or below 1.5v with that processor.

look up your processor @ http://www.amdgeeks.net/overclockdatabase to see what other people have been able to manage
