I need help.. I have an EVGA 650i ultra a1 motherboard with q6600.. this is my first time ocing..
I updated the bios and tried 333x9 fsb.. able to boot to windows.. I set my voltage to auto..
I don't know what I should do with the voltage setting..
In the bios, it says 1.28
and the fsb voltage 1.40
I don't know how to know the correct and accurate vcore..
and i have my memory unlinked...

i want to know how i'm gonna check the correct vcore.. and what setting I should put it in?
what is the stock voltage and safe idle/load temps for q6600 (g0)

THANKS!

Well, screw stock voltage you are OCing!
Usually 1.35v is a safe place to start. Check your temps while stability testing (100% load) and if you have proper cooling you shouldn't be at more than upper 50's. Also, linking your me makes it faster so it is a good idea to do that after you finish finding your max CPU speed.
