The 9700GT comes out on April 1st and will be nVidia's first Quad-Core GPU, to support Crossfire and SLi.

It will feature 2048MB Video memory (512mb per core) and is expected to retail at around £300 / $550.... although dont take my word for it.

well, they don't have to take your word for it, because the Inquirer posted some benchies of this monster and it is a beast. 26K 3Dmark 2006....with a P4 nonetheless. Well, I don't actually have a link but if you don't beleive me, you can take his word for it.

The 9800 series IS the 8800 series. With minor tweaks.

The good stuff is coming out when ATI releases their R700 line of video cards. Nvidia is just rehashing what they already have unfortunately and calling it something brand new.
